Alan Ramón Clinton, the guest editor of 2nd Avenue Poetry’s occult issue, discussed 
the relationships among the ideas of philosopher Michel Serres, Buddhism, poetry, and 
magick, and poets Tsering Wangmo Dhompa and Rusty Morrison read from their work. clinton 
read poetry by Leslie Scalapino, whose work is also included in this issue.
